Knitting pattern for a unicorn hat in children's and adult sizes.
The First Unicorn Hat is a beanie with stranded colorwork depicting a unicorn as well as Nordic stars. The hat is knitted bottom up with either a single layer or folded brim, and either with three colors at once or with two colors before the last is added with duplicate stitches.

22-25 stitches over 10 cm stranded colorwork, depending on size (see Yarn Suggestions)
Yarn Suggestions
Gauge 24-25 stitches over 10 cm, for 9-18 months, 3-5 years and S: Rauma Tumi, held single / Sandnes Garn Sunday, held double
Gauge 22 stitches over 10 cm, for 2-3 years and M: Dale Merino 22 / Sandnes Merinoull
You may use other yarns as long as they let you meet gauge.
Materials Needed
Rauma Tumi or Dale Merino 22 (see Yarn Suggestions)
Main color: 1 (1) 2 (2) 2* balls
Contrast color 1: 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 ball
Contrast color 2: 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 ball
Yarn for the horn: about 8 meters of fingering weight yarn, such as Rauma Concorde
*For this size you may need to add some meters from a third ball of yarn
