Gingerbread Socks Junior is a knitting pattern for Christmas socks in kids’ sizes! This toe-up knitting pattern features gingerbread biscuits with a gingerbread man, a Christmas tree, and a candy cane in stranded colorwork.

34 x 30 stitches over 10 x 10 cm stranded colorwork
Difficulty level
In terms of colorwork, this pattern is advanced, as there are very long floats in some parts of the chart. In other words, you will have a considerable number of stitches after one another in the same colour, which creates floats of the unused colour on the wrong side. These should be locked in, for example by twisting the two yarns around one another once every third or fourth stitch, as this is a children’s sock pattern where tiny toes could otherwise get caught in the floats. Make sure that you do not twist in the same place on two consecutive rounds.
